CSA Group High-Voltage Full-Load Interrupter Switches

Preface This is the first edition of No. 193 of a series of Standards issued by Canadian Standards Association under Part II of the Canadian Electrical Code. It is written in SI (metric) units. It is intended that this new Standard replace the CSA Standard C105, Indoor High—Potential Full-Load Air Interrupter Switches. This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group. Scope 1.1 This Standard applies to full-load interrupter switches for use at voltages from 751 to 48 300 V ac indoors, and for installation in switchgear assemblies (see CSA Standard C22.2 No. 31) or similar equipment for use indoors or outdoors, and at altitudes not exceeding 2000 m, in nonhazardous locations, in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
