Description
This Standard sets forth the minimum requirements for metallic and composite primary carrier, secondary containment, normal vent and vapour recovery and integral primary/secondary pipe systems (pipe and fittings) intended for underground use in distribution and venting applications of petroleum-base flammable liquids and combustible liquids, alcohols, and alcohol-blended fuels as identified in this Standard.
For the purpose of this Standard, flammable liquids and combustible liquids mean gasoline, fuel oil, kerosene and diesel fuel, including gasoline with small amounts of additives such as detergents, solvents for detergents and anti-icing chemicals; diesel with up to 5% biodiesel and gasoline with up to 15% ethanol or methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE).
