Scope 1.1 This Standard applies to cord-connected and permanently connected electrically heated pottery kilns for use on nominal system voltages of 600 V or less, designed to be used in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. 1.2 This Standard does not apply to electrical equipment employing high-frequency currents or industrial heating equipment.
