Preface This is the first edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 61029-2-8, Safety of transportable motor-operated electric tools - Part 2: Particular requirements for single spindle vertical moulders, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled CEI/IEC (Commission Électrotechnique Internationale/International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 1029-2-8 (first edition, 1995-04), including Amendment 1:1999 and Amendment 2:2001. At the time of publication, Amendment 1:1999 is available from IEC in English only. CSA will publish the French version when it becomes available from IEC. Au moment de la publication, l'Amendement 1:1999 était offert par la CEI en anglais seulement. La CSA publiera la version en français dès qu'elle sera produite par la CEI.
