CSA Group Guide for kVA sizing of dry-type transformers, 1.2 kV class, single-phase and three-phase

Preface This is the first edition of CSA C802.4, Guide for kVA Sizing of Dry-Type Transformers, 1.2kV Class, Single-Phase and Three-Phase. Scope 1.1 The Guide applies to all 1.2 kV class dry -type transformers covered under CSA C22.2 No. 47 and CSA C9 for commercial and industrial applications. 1.2 The Guide is not intended to apply to transformers applying specialty loads such as drive transformers, rectifier transformers, grounding transformers, and mining transformers. 1.3 Not included in this Guide is the treatment of harmonics, it being recognized that the forecasting and treatment of load harmonics and voltage harmonics is a significant concern in itself. Note - It is planned that harmonics will be addressed in a future edition. 1.4 The Guide is to be considered for both new installations and the replacement of existing installations.
