Preface This is the first edition of CAN/CSA-IEC/TS 61000-3-5, Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 3-5: Limits - Limitation of voltage fluctuations and flicker in low-voltage power supply systems for equipment with rated current greater than 75 A, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Technical Specification 61000-3-5 (second edition, 2009-07). Scope This part of IEC 61000 deals with emission of disturbances due to voltage fluctuations and flicker. The recommendations in this Technical Specification are applicable to electrical and electronic equipment that has a rated input current exceeding 75 A per phase and is intended to be connected to a public low-voltage a.c. distribution system. Domaine d'application Cette partie de la CEI 61000-3 porte sur l'émission de perturbations de type fluctuations de tension et papillotement. Les recommandations figurant dans cette Spécification Technique sont applicables aux appareils électriques et électroniques dont le courant assigné d'entrée est supérieur à 75 A par phase et qui sont destinés à être raccordés à un réseau public de distribution basse tension. Les recommandations qui précisent les informations nécessaires pour permettre à une Compagnie d'Electricité, un constructeur ou un consommateur d'évaluer un matériel sont données dans l'Annexe A.
