CSA Group Information technology - Programming languages, their environments and system software interfaces - Extensions to the C library - Part 2: Dynamic allocation functions (Adopted ISO/IEC TR 24731-2:2010, first edition, 2010-12-01)

Preface Standards development within the Information Technology sector is harmonized with international standards development. Through the CSA Technical Committee on Information Technology (TCIT), Canadians serve as the Canadian Advisory Committee (CAC) on ISO/IEC Joint Technical Committee 1 on Information Technology (ISO/IEC JTC1) for the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), the ISO member body for Canada and sponsor of the Canadian National Committee of the IEC. Also, as a member of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Canada participates in the International Telegraph and Telephone Consultative Committee (ITU-T). At the time of publication, ISO/IEC TR 24731-2:2010 is available from ISO and IEC in English only. CSA will publish the French version when it becomes available from ISO and IEC. Scope ISO/IEC TR 24731 specifies a series of extensions of the programming language C, specified by ISO/IEC 9899:1999. ISO/IEC 9899:1999 provides important context and specification for this part of ISO/IEC TR 24731. Clause 4 should be read as if it were merged into ISO/IEC 9899:1999, 6.10.8. Clause 5 should be read as if it were merged into the parallel structure of named subclauses of ISO/IEC 9899:1999, Clause 7.
