Scope 1.1.1 This Standard applies to gas-fired brooders, (other than hot water, or steam), for use with natural gas and/or propane. Brooders outside the scope of this Standard may be examined to the intent of applicable codes and standards and a report issued to the Authorities having jurisdiction for acceptance. 1.1.2 This Standard applies to gas-fired brooders intended for use in producing poultry and live-stock.
