Interested in an electrical apprenticeship? IBEW Local Union 120 is now accepting applications for apprenticeships!

Please follow all instructions carefully. You must meet all requirements in order to apply. Only successful applicants will be contacted for interviews.

The first step of the hiring process is document submission followed by an online aptitude test (applicants are required to upload essential documents during this process).

To be eligible to apply you must:
• Submit an updated resume.
• A picture of your photo ID.
• You must review the registration video.
• Provide a valid Driver’s License.
• Live within our jurisdiction - Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford, or Huron County (if you do not, your application will not be accepted, and the application fee will not be refunded).

Please note:
• Both the Application Form and Mechanical Aptitude Test must be completed within 1 week from the time of purchase and before Monday, February 10th, 2025 at 12:00 am.
• Applications are first come, first serve! Limited spots available.
• This course is available to everyone BUT if you wish to be eligible to be hired after the training program is complete, you must have your high school transcript which includes a senior level math and science (grade 11 or 12), or ICAS report. You must also be a NEW apprentice (cannot be signed to another sponsor).

*If you have post-secondary education related to the electrical field, please phone 519-652-2929 to see if you can apply with those transcripts in lieu of the high school requirements.

***Please note, due to the nature of the construction business, the hiring process for apprentices can vary from one month to one year or more.
