Description
These requirements cover products intended to be used to absorb leaked or spilled flammable or combustible liquids, to reduce the fire hazard from the exposed products and to assist in their disposal. These absorbents are intended for use in accordance with the following:
- National Fire Code of Canada, parts 2, 4 and 5
- The Requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
Absorbents are intended to replace required fixed fire protection systems or portable fire extinguishers. Published 9/30/1994.
