Description
This document contains the requirements for the installation of field assembled skeletal neon signs and outline lighting systems, and is to be used in conjunction with: C22.1, Safety Standard for Electrical Installations, Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1; and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 207, Portable and Stationary Electric Signs and Displays.
This document is intended to provide evaluation of the electrical equipment and interconnecting wiring comprising of complete field assembled skeletal neon signs and outline lighting systems that otherwise are not intended to be evaluated in accordance with CSA SPE-1000 (Model Code for the Field Evaluation of Electrical Equipment), or to be certified in conformance with CSA-C22.2 No.207 (Portable and Stationary Electric Signs and Displays).
