
This training course has been developed to assist the participant in understanding the requirements of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) with respect to the installation of fire alarm systems in buildings.
The material is presented in two parts as follows:
Part 1 – Fire Alarm System Requirements in Part 3, Division B other than Subsection 3.2.4., and
Part 2 - Fire Alarm System Requirements in Part 3, Division B in Subsection 3.2.4.
Complete each course to receive 1 OAA (Ontario Association of Architects) continuing education credit (up to 2 credits total) and certificate.
Complete each course and achieve a score of 70% or higher on each quiz to receive 1 CFAA Category 1 credit (up to 2 credits total). Scores below 70% will receive 0.5 CFAA Category 2 credit upon course completion (up to 1 credit total).
Please note that CFAA allows one quiz attempt per course. We encourage you to review all course materials in full before proceeding with the quiz to ensure you are fully prepared.
