Presented by Rhiannon Todd, P.Eng., from CodeNext Inc., this presentation explores the changes proposed for Part 3, “Fire Protection, Occupant Safety and Accessibility”, for the upcoming 2024 Ontario Building Code. 

The presentation is intended to provide persons familiar with the current Building Code Regulation with a summary of proposed changes for the new 2024 Building Code Regulation that would impact the design of buildings and renovations. Changes discussed within this presentation are based on the proposed changes published for public consultation by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, as the 2024 Ontario Building Code Regulation has not yet been published. 

This course will take approximately 1 hour to complete. 

There is also a short quiz at the end of this course to test your understanding of the materials presented.
