More About This Product

Description

These requirements provide the minimum criteria for aboveground used oil systems that eliminate, to a large extent, the manual handling of used oil. Used oil systems are designed primarily for use in automotive service centres for the collection, handling and storage of used oil.

These systems consist of a small capacity mobile container with a receiver funnel on the top, connected through a quick connection hose to a pump, and from the pump through steel pipe to a contained tank assembly located outside of the building.

Aboveground used oil systems covered by these requirements are intended for stationary installation and use in accordance with the following:
  • National Fire Code of Canada, Part 4;
  • CSA B139, Installation Code for Oil Burning Equipment
  • The requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
