Description
These requirements cover positive displacement meters for flammable and combustible liquids and propane in the liquid phase. "Flammable and Combustible Liquids," as used herein, means gasoline, fuel oil, kerosene, and similar petroleum products that are handled at pressures not exceeding 690 kPa and at temperatures within the range of minus 40 degrees C to 52 degrees C.
Flammable and combustible liquid meters covered by these requirements are intended for use in accordance with the National Fire Code of Canada. Propane meters covered by these requirements are intended for use in non-refrigerated systems in accordance with the Propane Installation Code, CAN/CGA-B149.2. Published 4/30/1992.
