More About This Product
Description
The purpose of the test is to evaluate the temperature transmission performance of a protective covering over foamed plastic when the assembly is subjected to a standard fire exposure condition following the standard time-temperature curve. These protective coverings are commonly referred to in the National Building Code as thermal barriers. It is the intent that classifications shall register performance during a period of exposure and shall not be construed as determining suitability for use after fire exposure.
Note: This Standard supersedes CAN4-S124-M85(R2000).
