More About This Product

Description

The Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification Practice Exam Questions was developed to assist with exam preparation.  Focusing on key areas of the exam, question banks have been created to allow you to learn while your answer questions in this handy interactive study aid.  Wrong answer reports are provided to help with your learning and you can re-try tests over and over until you feel confident.  A simulated exam is also provided so you can test yourself against the clock.

Industrial Electrical Pre-Exam Workook - The industrial electrician is required to apply their field experience in concert with the application of present-day Codes, Standards, and historical and state of the art industrial/commercial electrical/mechanical equipment. For this reason this manual covers not only the essentials of the 442A exam material but devotes considerable attention to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Canadian Electrical Code requirements, as applied, to ensure safe electrical maintenance and installation practices.

The 442A is currently a voluntary qualification, typically applied in Commercial and Industrial facilities where a Ministry Qualified Industrial Electrician provides the Code required maintenance of the facilities' electrical systems.

Facility owners understand the need for qualified persons to perform tasks as regulated by Canadian Codes and Standards, thus reducing risk including high insurance premiums. With the demand growing for commercial/industrial facility management and the increased levels of governmental enforcement of the required maintenance, this is an excellent time to get qualified, recognized and achieves success in the commercial/industrial facility maintenance industry. Many Industrial Electricians expand their career potential and go on to become Master Electricians and Licensed Electrical Contractors.
