Building on the content of this existing series, by the same author, this follow-up series contains two video presentations with graphics, tables, and plain English explanations relating to wood frame construction according to Part 9 of the Ontario Building Code. 

Part 1 builds upon these previous video presentations to cover steel beams in wood frame construction, all applicable tables, and multiple examples to provide a comprehensive grasp of the use and limitations of steel beams in wood frame construction.   
Part 2 (in progress) covers built-up wood beams and lintels, their construction requirements, all applicable tables, and multiple examples based on the latest edition of the Ontario Building Code. 

There is also a short quiz at the end of this course to test your understanding of the materials presented.

This course is eligible for one OAA (Ontario Association of Architects) continuing education credit upon successful completion.
