Part 1 is an introduction to wood frame construction and the rules about wood frame construction in Ontario.
Part 2 is an overview of selecting floor joists, roof joists, and roof rafters based on the Ontario Building Code tables and requirements.
Part 3 continues with selecting ceiling joists and wall studs, and provides an introduction to beams and lintels.
There is also a short quiz at the end of each video to test your understanding of the materials presented.
This course is eligible for three OAA (Ontario Association of Architects) continuing education credits upon successful completion.
