This is the first of the two (2) examinations that must be successfully completed to become a Registered CFAA Fire Alarm Technician. It is recommended that you first complete 1500 hours of field experience as per the Fire Alarm Trainee Logbook http://www.cfaa.ca/Files/Logobookfinal12-22-15.pdf. The Registration Theory Exam is three (3) hours in length and will be conducted online. A computer, with webcam and high speed internet access is required in order to take this exam. A confirmation email with login in information will be sent to you once the payment for this exam has been processed. Once you have successfully completed the Theory Exam you will be able to schedule and pay the fee for the Registration Practical Exam.
